Who are the Bedouin?
The Bedouins were nomadic herders that lived in desert areas. They went from water to water and oasis to oasis. They didn't believe in eating meet so they would find dried fruits and nuts. They believed their animals were too valuable to kill and eat so they brought them with them.
What was Mohammad's message?Mohammad was said to have went to hills to pray but was interrupted by an angel that said to worship and preach the word of Allah the god. He went back to Mecca and began preaching the word but little believed him until suddenly it got very popular. Allah was said that Allah would reward the good people and punish the evil doers |
Why was Islam not liked at first?Islam wasn't liked at first because it took away the riches of wealthy people. Islam followers were beaten and tortured. Soon people realized started to follow the religion of Islam. There were only about 700 followers when they left Mecca because of the hatred but now there are millions.

What does Islam teach?Islam believes in some of the same things as other religions. They believe in one god and that, that one god created the world along with all of us. They also believe that the god determines right and wrongs . They believe in Jesus and Moses but they think they are prophets.

What are the 5 pillars of Islam and Sunna?
The 5 pillars of Islam include belief in the god Allah, prayer which they must do five times a day, Alms or giving food to the poor, fasting for the month of Ramadan, and Hajj which means they have to visit Mecca once in their lives. Sunna is the name given to the Islamic customs.
