what were romes problems?(Political ,Social, Economic, Military)
Political and social: Once the last Severans ruler died in 235, Rome's government became weak. For many years army leaders fought each other for the throne. which during this time Rome had 22 emperors. Fewer Romans honored the old ideas. With all these problems increasing talented people often refused to serve in government. Many wealth pole stopped paying taxes, fewer people started to attend school. Then large numbers of empire' people were slaves now.
Economic and military: In to 200s, Rome's economy began to fall apart. Which made government weaken and law and order break down. Many people left their jobs and severed in the army. Also a disease that spreads widely, stared to takes its toll. Which this disease killed 1 out of every 10 people within the empire. When the economy got weaker and weaker prices increased, due to fewer taxes being paid. also due to soldiers and invaders seizing crops and destroying fields. who invaded rome & why does it fall?When both Diocletian and Constantinople failed to save Rome's empire. After Constantine died in 337 , fighting broke out again. Which then a new emperor Theodosius finally gained control and stopped the fighting. The empire proved to be difficult, to rule. So after Theodosius died he divided the empire into 2 separate empires. The 2 empires were the Eastern and Western Roma Empire. The eastern empire's capital was Constantinople. As the empire kept declining it could not longer hold back the Germanic Tribes on its borders. There were many different Germanic Tribes- Ostrogoth's,Visigoths,Franks, Vandals,Angles, and Saxons.

WHAT CHANGES DID DIOCLETIAN & CONSTANTINE MAKE?Diocletian: He became emperor in 284. Which to help stop Rome's decline he introduced perform, or political changes to make things better. He divided the empire into 4 parts cause it was so large. Which in the end his reforms failed. People just ignored the new rules. That made him not have enough power to make them obey. He then retired in 305.
Constantine: Once Diocletian retired, Constantine took the office in 312. To improve the economy he issued several orders. The sons of workers had to follow in their fathers trade. But his changes still didn't halt the empire's decline in the west. Which in result he moved the capital from Rome to a new city called hippodrome, many palaces. Which the city became known as Constantinople, but today its called Istanbul. what was rome's legacy?Influence on: government, religion, culture
The world we live in today would be very different if the Roman Empire didn't existed. Many of our government ideas came from the Romans. Also many words in english language. Our system of laws and our knowledge about building came from Rome. The christian religion spreads cause Rome's peace and order allowed that.
